Art is transportive. Engaging with it, especially with what one has made themselves, can be a way to vividly revisit past feelings and situations.

After losing much of my personal archives from 2020-2022 due to a technological failure, I was worried that these windows into my past would be lost permanently. I immediately began trying to recover whatever bits and scraps I could from across other devices and the larger internet.

The end result of this search is a collage work, stitching together the fragments, snippets, and memories of my practice from this time period into a new narrative: patchwork piece.
